This pamphlet, translated in Spanish, provides contact information for some of the Michigan resources and programs available to help families who have children with special needs such as family support services, special health care, early intervention, special education, and financial support.

MI HEARTSafe School Virtual Workshop – January 2022

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services hosted a virtual workshop for schools to learn how to become HEARTSafe. The workshop addressed a variety of topics including sudden cardiac death, legislative requirements on cardiac emergency response plans, CPR/AED education, cardiac emergency response drills and an interactive element reviewing the updated application.
